Topic 3 discusses TL's and the curriculum; project based learning and inquiry learning. Education is moving towards student centred learning and this needs to be taken into account when planning the curriculum.
It is important for teachers to integrate information literacy skills into the curriculum. This shows this integration and offers some examples of uses of technology in the curriculum.

Judy O'Connell believes that 'literacy underpins all our work' and should be central to planning and understanding students capacity to learn. Teachers teach students how to read words, images, sounds, video etc. Linear reading is not the only way to read today.
